Theft was not a good idea... by DameOdessa Theft was not a good idea... by DameOdessa
Edit: I got a DD on this one!! :wow: Thank you so much! :faint:

So this is another reason for you to discover and :+fav: :iconshar-vampire:'s works!!

And another little precision, I will just copy/past my reply to one of the comments here:
"That was a little joke and surprised I wanted to do for her ;) Of course I couldn't ask her "can I use it for a deviation about theft ?". Luckily she laughed at it as well.

But indeed I'm the first one surprised that DA featured it as a DD as long as it used another deviant's art. I hope they asked her for her agreement :( By the way if she feels offended by this DD I will immediatly remove/change this art. And of course she can report this deviation as long as I used her art :) I prefer to keep a friend than to get a DD ;)
" So, dear Shar, if you read this and want any kind of change, I will do it, the DD does not matter! :tighthug:

OK.... This is a VERY stupid idea but I can't resist :D

:iconshar-vampire: is a fantastic artist, specialized in dragons and most of her artist's comments end with ":fork: steal and die in pain, sucker! ". So tonight I had this stupid and weird idea :D That's such a death, right ?

This is pure fun and just fun, a little joke, I was not aiming at all at stealing her art ^^;

Of course, I did not ask her first her agreement for using her beautiful drawing, as I wanted this art to be a kind of surprise, but if she tells me that she doesn't want me to use it I will immediatly remove it :) And the DA page is a true/fake, it is not exactly the same on the original page :)

The original deviation is here:
Please :+fav: it!

Theft was not a good idea... by *DameOdessa is a wonderfully comical take on how art thieves should be dealt with. Only thing left out was a bottle of ketchup. ( Suggested by Afina79 and Featured by ginkgografix )

First, Are YOU KIDDING ME?!
this is such a fantastic idea, and very unique, you afficially owned this as a copy right image and idea!.
2nd, I have to say to your friend : " your very lucky to have someone this wounderful who has the heart to acctually do something so sweet and kind for you, I belive that you both deserve a fav not only becouase your both such great artist, but i can see that both are kind and sweet hearted people, and I hope you wont get to fight with each other ever.
The colors on the dragon are made really well, i esspecially love the crimson red part on each scale that is reflected. And the girls shadow is a really good idea to give the 3D image, but i bet that if you added a bit of dark shadow at the bottom end would have made it more realistic, unless it was made in a way to make her look like if she is flying, thats why you left it light...right??
The saliva, is a VERY INTERESTING AND GOOD TOUCH!! ( love the shadows there at the back!
other than the fact that the idea behind this is priceless, I have nothing eles to say except...well done  well done, I hope your friend would like the suprise, its very sweet.

So this art piece has definitely raised my spirits some. One of my first experiences on DA being asked to help stop a case of art theft, and seeing it rear its ugly head time and time again, I can definitely say that I wish this could be implemented for real.

The art is well rendered, bringing the characters into the foreground, casting shadows onto the screen surely gives anyone who has dealt with art theft in any way in the past a good laugh and a knowledge that the imposing offender shall not escape this predicament they have placed themselves in.

Hopefully images like this can serve to add to a potential thief's knowledge and conscience and aid in warding them away from this act of blatant disrespect. May it also serve them to know that they are indeed crunchy and good with ketchup.

Good work :icondameodessa: I am very impressed with this piece!

Art thieves should have every bone in their body broken starting with each segment of their fingers, then they should be left to rot in a dark spider infested room but kept alive to endure more torture, after that they should have every inch of their body cut and their eyes should be scooped out with spoons. Next they should be burned by lighters (but not killed) all hours of the day until they attempt to kill themself by holding their breath (which doesn't work they just wake up a while later with brain damage) then they should continue to be tortured until they die of infection :iconfrageplz: That's how art thieves should be dealt with.

I guess you're right, they do that type of thing in china to be accurate, but in america they just arrest them and give them a fine
