"My meeting with her ancestor Neferkarê was still vivid in my mind when I finally met the Great Royal Wife Isetnofret. She simply came in the room with a white dressed made of the finest and most delicate linen, attired in her best finery, testifying of her royale function. One again, I was fascinated by the beauty and the unaffectedness from the Ladies of Hout-ka-Ptah, which made you feel at ease at first sight. At no point, I felt debased by the Queen's presence. She welcomed me in the room, whom painting was telling the story of her meeting with her husband, the King. She explaine me that this room was being done up thanks to the best artisans but, since the the monarch's death, the work had been interrupted to let her and her subjects to mourn for the King... Bereaved, but still so noble, beautiful and proud... I couldn't have any debt about the fact that Hout-ka-Ptah's destiny was in good hands and Isetnofret was carrying on hes spouse's work..." The Wanderer, III, 9.
Finally finished Totally different from what I expected at first. I wanted to added a cat, some plants, many other paintings and walls, but finally, it has to be simpler to enhance the Queen's beauty! I'm really really happy how it turned out and most of all the skin! Aww, I've found a new way to paint it, I'm so glad!!!
For , I know how much you like Ancient Egypt, dear, thanks for your support
Complete fresco here: reference for the pose from a beautiful shot of Ava Gardner. Her face is so inspiring.
okay first just wonderful the scene is very full and bright!! i love the mosaic-like background with the birds, who, are actually very well done, the shading and detail on the wings are great, the plants and the cat grabbing the bird, just a very classic very beautiful piece! its almost like art within a piece of art and going towards the women is great!! the lighting on her is wonderful and very realistic, the lighting on the vase on her head, and clothing is great! the jewellery is very pretty, it actually looks like jewellery!! my only critique is that maybe add more colours to the shading, but you know what?? its amazing! i love it!!
