Because there is none for me...

"He could hear the music outside and the people slowly leaving their home. It was the beginning of Lughnasa celebration and everyone was happy to share this time with a friend. But he was alone. A foreigner in this town, lonely and lonesome... Full of remorse and regret, a heart filled with rancour and nostalgia... For centuries he had had everything he desired... Power and friends... But he realized that "friends" was actually meaningless... He was alone... Alone with a fantastic power trapped in a mortal body. No matter what his name was, Acmon the shopkeeper, or Azorea the Atlantean God of Empyrea... He was nothing but a lonely man..."

I finally used *pranile's awesome gift for my b-day! I had an idea like this since a long time but at first I was only thinking of a place with many people. The idea with the window and the lonely man came after. There are two reasons of it: first, this is part of my story, in order to introduce another character, Acmon, a shopkeeper whose real identity is far from a mere human. He has a lot of difficulties to talk with other people and to accept his new life. He will need a lot of love and care to be able to appreciate his new humanity. I was also amazingly inspired by "Skin Deep" from Once Upon a Time, so sad, so tragic and so magnificient... The other reason is directly linked with the period: most of us are having good time with family and friends but what about the persons who are alone ? None to talk to or laugh with, all the happiness surrounding them while they are totally alone and most of the time desperate... This is a single thought for all of them...
